Prez photocopying a telephone

Drunk Detective Polk startled by a sudden machine sound and found out that Detective Roland Pryzbylewski was using a photocopy machine in otherwise vacant building. Curious Polk approached Prez and saw that he was photocopying an upside-down telephone. Detective Polk just gave up trying to understand what’s going on and walked away muttering “this f**king detail…”

Detective Prez was actually trying to break the telephone code of the Barksdale Crew.

Shardene learning to measure

Prosecutor Rhonda Pearlman walked in on Detective Herc and Detective Sydnor intensely looking at a young woman who was pacing up and down in the middle of a room with a string attached to her ankles. Miss. Perlman stopped on her tracks, looked at all three of them and decided to not to pry on and walked away.

Detective Herc and Sydnor were helping Shardene to train to take measurements using only her steps. Detectives were trying to get the measurements to Avon Barksdale’s hideout which was a backroom inside Orlando’s night club. Using a tape measure was out of the question. So, Detective Lester came up with this genius idea to use a pace counting method instead.

Poot overhears a disturbing conversation between Herc and Carver

After the Towers came down, Herc and Carver saw Poot hanging out in a corner. They cuffed Poot and took him to an alleyway to ask few questions. Herc and Carver were curious how Towers Boys could hang in new street corners without having problems with corner crews. Since Poot gave nothing away, they cut him loose. While he was walking away, Herc said to Carver “how about a handjob?” Poot heard it, shook his head and continued to walk away.

Herc and Carver were playing an ongoing game which was invented by Carver. Carver asked Herc to imagine a hypothetical situation where Herc can have any beautiful girl he fancies, but first he has to have sex with a man for a single time. So Herc has to name who that man would be. Herc was trying to wiggle out from the second part of the deal.

Bubbles and Johnny walked to the Metal Man without any pants

Bubbles and Johnny, two dope fiends were pushing a cart, filled with metal scraps on the road. Both of their upper parts were fully dressed and both of them had shoes on, but they did not have any pants. They were walking in the streets wearing only underwear on their lower halves. That was a strange sight even for junkies. Man in the scrapyard also pointed out the fact that they lack pants, “Y’all know you ain’t got pants?”

Earlier, Bubbles and Johnny lost control of their cart and bumped it into a SUV which was belong to a gangster from Marlo’s crew. Gangster got mad and almost shot Johnny. Then he asked a payment for the damage. Bubbles and Johnny did not have any money to pay, so apparently he made them walk away without their pants as a punishment.

Donut Joyriding through Bodie’s corner

Chris and Snoop duo came to Bodie’s corner to intimidate him in to buy Marlo’s package. But before they begin their negotiations, Chris, Snoop and Bodie turned their heads to watch a little kid who could barely see over the dashboard, driving a big SUV while blasting away loud music.

Little kid was Donut who is a car enthusiast. He uses his Slim Jim skills to boost cars so he could joyride. His this destructive habit put him on the radar of one of the worst people in the series, Officer Walker. Even Officer Walker’s brutal punishment could not stop Donut from joyriding.

Two grown men running like little children to their car

Councilman Tommy Carcetti and his election campaign manager Norman Wilson were canvassing. Major Rawls came to them and delivered a message. Both Carcetti and Norman waited until Rawls left their sight. And then these two adult, respectable men started to run like little kids to their car.

Carcetti was running for the mayor against incumbent Mayor Royce. Major Rawls just deliver the news that one of Mayor’s supporters, Odell Watkins had a fight with the Mayor. Carcetti and Norman were gleeful and hurrying to take the opportunity to turn Delegate Watkins to their camp.

Detective McNulty suddenly started to trash a crime scene

Detective Bunk Moreland and Jimmy McNulty were called upon to investigate a death of a homeless man in a vacant house. Jimmy looked at the body, went out to take a breath and a quick booze shot, and then came back in. Bunk noticed something was not right with Jimmy. Suddenly, to Bunk’s horror, Jimmy started to trash the crime scene.

Jimmy has the Main Character Syndrome. He was angry at everyone for cutting funds to the police department, which resulted in downsizing the Major Crimes Unit. He trashed and manipulated the crime scene to create a lie, a hoax to convince everyone that there was a serial killer in Baltimore so that top brass had no choice but to increase funds to the police department.

Bunch of Hamsterdam dealers crawling out from a vacant

Hamsterdam itself was a weird place for outsiders. One day Sergeant Carver was having a talk with police patrolmen and suddenly a drug dealer came crawling out from a vacant. His hands and feet were restrained with tape and also had a tape over his mouth. Officer Lloyd Garrick found more bound and gagged people crawling in the vacant house.

All those people fell in to a scam. A man came to them and showed samples of jewelries for cheap price and directed them to a vacant house where the sale was held. In the house there was an armed crew who robbed every person came in their way.

Dukie dancing

Michael Lee and Duquan “Dukie” Weems were talking on Michael’s corner and suddenly Dukie started to dance like an exotic dancer, and Michael cheered Dukie. Both of them were emulating a scene from a strip club.

Dukie was reading ads for job vacancies. He saw an advertisement for an exotic dancer. He was jokingly demonstrating that he could do the job.
