Art style in Vanishing Point second issue remind me of The Flintstones. I was ready to enjoy a story in similar vibe. A light hearted, comedic story about a family who lives in a sky home. Basically a Flintstones in the sky story. How wrong I was. This one is far from a lighthearted cartoon.

Risks in future asteroid mining.
There are two ways to look at the story of the 1st issue of Vanishing Point comic book. First, it’s a story about an astronaut discovering a whole new lifeform out there in the space, or that said astronaut slowly losing his mind over time while working in extreme isolation.

Heart Eyes Killer has a long way to go to become a slasher icon.
Heart Eyes (2025) movie creators are hoping that their creation, Heart Eyes Killer is going to be an iconic character in slasher subgenre. My two cents is that this one movie isn’t enough to lift HEK up to slasher icons like Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Freddy Krueger.

White Noise by Andrew Santino was a letdown.
During “Bad Friends” podcast both Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino are not afraid to push jokes into borderline offensive territory. But in White Noise comedy special I did not see that flame in Andrew Santino.
