You may have missed these fine details in The Skeleton Key (2005)
The plot twist in The Skeleton Key (2005) is a proper plot twist. It entirely changes your understanding of the plot up to that point. So you need to watch this movie at least twice to properly appreciate its story. Even then, you are going to miss some small details hidden in the plain sight.

Who is the deadliest corpse: Jane Doe, Hannah Grace, or Gramma?
Instead of resting in peace, these three corpses have chosen violence. They have different motives, different powers, and different danger levels. There are survivors from one of them, one is 100% lethal, and the remaining one is debatable. Read the article and decide whether you agree with me or not.

How a single word can change the meaning of a movie | The Skeleton Key (2005)

Mercy (2014) has failed Stephen King’s short story, “Gramma”
Gramma is not an easy story to adapt as a movie because most of it unfolds through a little child’s internal monologues. Instead of finding a clever way to translate the original story onto the screen, Mercy chose to cram new, unnecessary horror elements into the movie.

There is an emptiness in the Kraven the Hunter world. Also eerie uncanny valley sense to the CGI animals in it. On top of that there’s a problem with Calypso Ezili taking out tracking work from Kraven which in turn reduces the impressiveness of Kraven’s “The World’s Best Hunter” title.

Did you catch these retcons in the new Croods 2 movie?
There are 4 retcons (that I know of) in The Croods: A New Age (2020) movie. Some of them do not affect the story that much, but others completely dismiss some character developments in The Croods (2013) movie.

Outside the Wire (2021): Captain Leo won his mission in the end
Capt. Leo was an advanced bio-tech robot. He grew conscious about the dangers of using his kind of robots in the future warfare. So he tried to protest the robotics program by attacking The US with a nuclear missile. Fortunately Lt. Harp stopped him. But I think Capt. Leo ultimately managed to prove his point.
