Mercy (2014) has failed Stephen King’s short story, “Gramma”
Gramma is not an easy story to adapt as a movie because most of it unfolds through a little child’s internal monologues. Instead of finding a clever way to translate the original story onto the screen, Mercy chose to cram new, unnecessary horror elements into the movie.
